turning 21...a new phase in life...

I can't believe that I'm turning 21 years old soon. recently, there has been many thoughts in my life and making many important decisions in my life. It's a growing up stage. Like what the title of this post says, "turning 21..a new phase in life."

Thoughts = Good thoughts (of course)

Decisions = Good decisions (I'm excited!)

1st thought:

First of all, I am going to be water baptized this coming 10th April.

So happen that...

1) 10 April is my 21st birthday

2) 10 April is Good Friday

3) 10 April is my water baptism day. wow! I'm happy.

Army! after 30 days in army, I achieved my 8-5 posting. God is good. More than good, God is great..

After 3 months, I went to see the Medical Officer at MMI and I managed to down pes to Pes C2L2 because of my severe flat foot. It's really flat.

Just today, I felt led by God to do something by faith in army. I'm still praying about it.

planning my saving and how to save my first $50000 in 3 years?

5th thought:

F3..looking forward to CG meeting tomorrow.

Can't wait to finish Customer Service Training with Customer Ops ministries...

A new chapter..

In a few days time, I will be starting a new chapter in my life. Personally, I'm very excited. I believe that going through army will really bring me even closer to God. It's going to a real test for every real man to go through. How's the status of me now?

Status:

Spiritually --- Prepared

Mentally --- Prepared

Emotionally --- Prepared

Physically ---- Not prepared! HAHA

I always believe that New level, New devil. The next few months, God is going to bring me to a new level in my walk with Him. That's mean a new devil! A stronger and bigger devil!

Exciting man.. I'm going to give this devil a KO punch in the name of Jesus!!

I can't wait to see it.

What I really need you to help me is to Pray. Keep me in prayer. I believe that your prayer will help in some ways. So if you are reading this.. Go and pray now! I'm serious.

It's so funny. if you ask me how do i feel about army. Honestly, it will still be a mixed feeling. Having a mixed feeling, I don't know how to explain to you. I shall just type down what happen the last few days. I leave it up to you to feel it. haha.

Friday

My peers in church went to newton with me to eat all the junk food. I ate rojak, oyster egg, Lala, stingray, satays, bbq chicken wings, otahs and drank sugar cane.

It's one of the best food you can find in Singapore!

Saturday

Surprisingly, I was still not thinking and worried about army at all. Because I told myself that I will purposely wait until the last day then I will panic about army. I even talked to Roy before service started. He asked me how I feel about army. I replied and said, "No feeling." I smiled. Then he said some people have thick skin, that's why still no feeling. haha. then he walked away and service started in few mins time.

Sunday

I went to buy all the army stuff that i need when I'm inside. Li xing accompany me to buy all the necessary things I need. Thanks Xing!! Eric came along to just fellowship and hang out with me.

We went to eat the best Beef horfun in Beach Road. Oh man..it's the best. We drank sugarcane too. Beach Road's Sugarcane is so much fresher and better than newton's one.

1o reasons why the beef horfun is the best!

1) Lixing and Eric will definitely eat it again when they are there.

2) The stall has two off days. It's closed on Thursday and Friday. So good that the boss doesn't want to work on Thursday and Friday.

3) The boss only sells the beef horfun at a limited time. As long as he finishes cooking all the ingredients, he will close his stall even if there's still customers.

4) he disciplines himself in the no. of beef horfun he wants to serve each day.

5) he doesn't prepare a lot of ingredients. He prepared just enough for him to cook.

6) He taste every sauce to make sure it's the sauce that he wants before he serves everyone.

7) The beef horfun has a lot of beef!!!

8) His beef horfun cost $4!! haha

9) I'm talking about it. when jianming says it's nice, it's surely is the best.

10) you feel like trying it now! hahah.

Alright... so after buying the army things, I started to feel more about army. I met Roy again just before service started. He told me that he can see that I looked different from yesterday. I told him yes.. Im thinking about army.

Sunday ended with two great meeting.

the most powerful one is with pastors. a great sharing by pastors to all the people in the meeting. After that was Ops Meeting. I thought God's presence really came to the room and used me to pray a prayer. I believe that there was an impartation that night to all the 40-50 people in the meeting that night.

God encouraged me that night as I was leading the whole team in prayer. the last 3 years, I had really sowed a lot in the ministry and using the church to build people and not use the people to build the church. There's so many people that I had trained are promoted to a higher level in their ministries. I am the happiest person that night.

Keegan and Jeremy are now the Head Usher in Usher Ministry. they are happy but I'm happier!

Shan yong is now the Head of Security. He's happy but I'm happier.

Seeing people like, them alongside with yilin, jian hong, peck hoon, shermaine, evi, etc doing what they are doing, it really encourage me and makes me very happy to see all of their dreams coming to pass.

It was the greatest joy!

Ending off my sunday night to dream and think about F3. oh man, it's the same feeling. Seeing kenn doing what he's doing today with the whole CG (jazreel, sili, tyne, rytha, charles, junzhou, bryan, lerren...so many more and more!!) I am super happy! yea.

Jazreel: hope you like that gift for your birthday. haha.

Monday

Let's make it a bit shorter. I woke up and went to eat with B1 and B10. thank you very much!!! you guys are the best. I had great time laughing and talking to all of you. Walking from Dhoby Ghaut to Far East Plaza. It was fun!

After that, I went to meet pastors and a few leaders for a dinner. Amazing!

I think I had tried all the food that I wanted to eat. I tried all the junk food, my beef horfun, japanese food and the best thai food I ever eaten. I'm super happy! lol.

Tuesday

I will be going church for BMT and will be sharing testimony in Garrett's session. At night, going to have my last meal before I go army with my whole family. It's going to be great.

Wednesday

REVELATIONS

One of my greatest revelation this week is about Jesus cleansing a leper in the book of Matthew. Jesus mentioned the word "willing". The leper said to Jesus, "Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean." Jesus replied and said that He is willing. The leper is cleansed and heal from the disease.

What is Willing?

Willing = it carries the idea of being ready, prepared.

See this today, I'm going to the army on Wednesday at 8am in the morning. I am going in willingly. I'm not going to AWOL, etc. or neither am I going to report sick and wake up late on purpose. Therefore, in a way, I am going to the army willingly. In a way....you know? I'm not really willing to go but because I got no choice and I need to go. So I'm kind of going in willingly.

If I'm going in willingly, I am going in being ready and prepared. Therefore, I am ready and prepare for it. I'm going after the new devil in this new level.. God just spoke right into my heart. I am ready and prepared.

ANOTHER REVELATION

I was reading John Bevere's book. Amazing book. Your responses determine your future.

Satan has set up many many traps in our lives. We must beware of all the traps that he has set up.

Traps are temptation.

The bible says flee from temptation.

Two things to know about traps:

Before you know what are the two things. Just think of settling up a trap to catch a rat. You will then understand the two things about traps. After you know it, beware of all the traps that Satan has set up near our lives. We are like the animals being surrounded by traps. Do not be trapped.

1) A trap will always be hidden.

2) A trap will always have a bait to draw you closer towards the trap.

The power packed weekend has just ended. If you include the 5 morning prayer in the morning, nick vujicic services and services with Pastors Kong, that will be 10 services in total. Wow.. I was around for 9 out of 10 services.

Thumbs up to all the Ushers! You really work very hard for the last few days. Some of them actually serve as many as 7-8 services because they want to help out! We only scheduled everyone to serve twice last week! some of them simply serve up to 8 services! I got nothing to say.

1 service there's about 1000 people.

10 services : 10000 people

Last week, if we don't count all the overlaps... We ushered 10000 people in one week!

Truly we made full use of our rental last week. hahaha.

For all the ushers and securities that's on the walkie talkie, I hope you didn't have a bad experience on the walkie with me. After last week, I'm sure everyone has broke through!

Updates about church breakthrough attendance!!!

Overall, we are above 2300 people!!! Praise God!

Zone F hit an attendance of 279 people!!

B zone was 140+!!

D zone was 400 plus if i'm not wrong!!

Oh..I must share two good news!

1) My elder brother came to church last week. I didn't even invite him to church and he asked if he can come to church a not.

For the longest time, my prayer is coming to pass. Remember the whole season of Spiritual adoption? As a CGL, I was inspiring my people to pray and invite their siblings to church. then I was very stressed. I'm thinking in my heart, how can I not be a doer of God's word. Then again , I was telling myself, it's very hard for me to invite my elder bro to church.

So I decided to pray to God for his best friend to be a Christian and get my bro to church. The amazing thing is that few weeks ago, I met his best friend and he's a christian! I didn't expect things to move so fast, my bro and his best friend came to church last week and he quite like it. ( I haven't really talk to him about the service yet).

Crystals!! He will be saved!

2) I was just talking to Pam online. She just told me that her classmate know who am I. I was stunned. This friend of hers said that we are in the same class few months ago. It took me quite awhile to remember him. But the powerful thing is that I did tell him that I'm a christian, etc but i always keep low profile in school. It was the last day of school and I haven't invited him to church, etc. Then I think I "anyhow" say a prayer for him to be saved. Pam just told me that he's now attending a church regularly for two months already!

I asked pam to help me tell him, must be my prayer!! haha.. lol.

He replied, "Amen! Praise the Lord!".

I tell you, he's not like that last time. He told me that he's a free thinker, etc. Today, he's a christian!

Some quick announcement, Pastors and the team are going to be back in 13hours as of now! I just received an sms. I'm excited.. I seriously miss pastors and rinnah a lot.

Next, we will not be having zone f service the next two weeks! Mainly, it’s because the next two weeks are power-packed weekends for us!!

Combined Service

In two days time, we will actually be having a combined service on Saturday from 5pm – 7pm. I tell you, I’m sure you will be blown away by our combined service.

Heart of God church has been growing a lot the last few months.

This weekend, it’s really an opportunity for us to see how big our church really is now.

So, you really need to be around to fill up this auditorium!

Evangelistic Services with Nick Vujicic

After our power-packed combined service, we will be moving on to the most power-packed weekend of the year!

By now, everyone of you should be very familiar about these two dates, on the 4^th and 5^th of Nov, Tuesday and Wednesday, Nick Vujicic will be coming to our church to share his testimony. He is someone who doesn’t have any hands nor legs and he will be sharing about how with God, all things are possible.

I heard that he will be here to show us how he throws a tennis ball.

Be sure not to miss this out! Most importantly, this is the best opportunity to invite your friends.

Many of you will have already started inviting your friend. You guys are amazing! If you haven’t, let me encourage you to really start inviting some friends. It’s still not too late to invite your friends!

CHC Morning Prayer

On the same week, City Harvest church is having their morning prayer @ our church. It is from the 3-7^th Nov 2008, Monday to Friday: 645am-8am. Do join us in the morning prayer!

Everyone!!!!, it’s going to a busy week in next week. Tuesday and Wednesday there will be service with Nick Vujicic and from Friday to Sunday, there’s service with Pastor Kong. Please really spend time with your family this Sunday as we are only having one service on Saturday.

In one week time, it is going to a stretch for many of you. You are going to come for all the 5 services! If you never realized, you are actually going to do something that you never done before.

If you want something you never had before, you need to do something you never done before. I believe that as you come for all the 5 services, you are going to experience something that you never had before!

Be wise, talk to your parents and share with them how in next week, it’s really a very important week for you and promise me you will spend time with your family this Sunday.

Wow! The holiday has just started and we have just packed you with so many things in your holidays. How many of you believe you are going to enjoy your holidays?

KL Trip

A trip to CHC KL was amazing. A trip that I will never forget because I went there with my pastor. Thank You Pastor How for giving me this opportunity to travel overseas with you. I love it!

Day 1

It was an exciting Day 1! The night before, I knockout at 4am. I haven't even packed finished most of my things and at 6am, I received a morning call from Koon Yew at 6am. I was supposed to meet him and travel to Harbor Front together. I was late. Unknowing, I went to sleep again. I really woke up at 630am. So, I quickly went to pack all my things and rushed down on a cab. Cab fare was $28++. Arrh!

After that, reached harbor front and quickly got the boarding pass and went up the bus. I sat with Colin! Oh man, I tell you, I planned to sleep on the bus. After talking to Colin for the first half an hour and finding out everything about his life in that half an hour... I can't sleep! So I decided to think about my own life, praise God, talk to God, thank Him and I started replying all my unread emails on the bus! Soon later, I reached KL! The sight of the Twin Tower gave me the conclusion that I had reached!!

We alighted the bus and checked in the hotel!

Funny Incident:

Jamie was so excited that she forgot we are at Malaysia. Not all Malaysian understands english. She went to an Indian guy and asked, "Hello! Can you help us take a group photo? :D"

HAHA. The man just stared at Jamie! We had a great laugh. After showing some hand signal, he got it and helped us.

Checked in the hotel, we started to check out the place around the hotel! 1st thing to check out: FOOD! FOOD! FOOD! We went around looking for Good Food! God is Good. Opposite our hotel is an Indian 24hrs shop. We went there to eat! Great Food.

1st Food Exploration:

Indian Food! amazing. The Teh tarik is the best! I didn't feel like drinking until i see the man pulls the teh!! Wah.. Temptation la! I ordered one immediately. After that, ordered real food.

First time I ate indian food with 8 different types of sauces on the rice. There's the chicken curry sauce, fish curry sauce, squid sauce, grilled chicken sauce, etc!! After eating this meal, everyone is in a happy mood!

Went to KLCC for a quick walk and went to Nikko Hotel for the arrival of Pastor. Helped pastor how with his things to the room and told pastor about the indian food. Haha..A few of us went to buy the indian food for pastor how. Some of us were tempted again, we bought teh tarik to drink!

After that, we went to Nikko Hotel to wait for the arrival of Pastor How! Helped pastor how with his things and went shopping with Garrett and team.

Wow..we really walked. In Singapore, it's like walking from Raffles Place to Orchard Road. We want to look for their Far East Shopping Centre for cheap and nice stuff.

The malaysian told as that it's two streets away. their "two streets" means "From raffles to orchard". Can you imagine how far is it?

We shopped from 5pm-7pm. At 730pm, we are supposed to meet Pastor How and Pastor Kevin at the hotel and go for the best dinner in KL. But we are still at the "far east shopping centre" at 705pm. Oh man..we need like 30mins to walk back to the hotel. The team and I decided to run back. Reach a point in time, Garrett and I decided to rush back first. We reached the hotel at 725pm. we are fast man. The rest managed to reach by 730pm. haha.

1st Dinner at KL:

22 cups of orange juice per table of 8 persons.

HEART TO HEART SESSION

After everything, pastor how invited us to his room and we have a heart to heart session. Pastor How shared a lot and it really impacted me and the team. We are so blessed!

DAY 2

Whole day shopping in the afternoon and then headed for their church service. Amazing. Learnt a lot from them and was very blessed there. But I must say that as a Heart of God Church member! Heart of God church is the best. I love my church and my pastors!

Their service was great.. CHCKL is one of the best churches in malaysia man.. Pastor How sermon was ownage. Pastor preached about The journey of the dream..Joseph's life, etc.

The presence of God totally filled up the whole place.

After the service, we headed for dinner!

2nd Dinner at KL:

This time round, the food is even better. All thanks to Yong Hui and Jamie!!

It was very funny..After the first dinner, Yong hui and Jamie looked at Pastor Kevin and told him, "Pastor.. This is the best food I ever eaten in my entire life." "WAH!" said Pastor Kevin!

Because of this, pastor kevin said that he needs to up the standard of the food. He brought us to Sakura for dinner. Sakura Lasi Lemak is the best!! wow...We have orange juice again!

After that, head back to hotel. Have our 2nd heart to heart session with Pastor How. amazing! So blessed!

DAY 3

We headed to their church as early as 9am in the morning. Have a quick tour of their church.

I must said that our church ops really is 5times better than them. I mean our equipment is so much more than them and better then them. BUT! we must really appreciate what we have and not take things for granted. Though our equipment is better, their output is better than us in some ways. Their livefeed ministry is the best. They don't use walkie talkie to communicate and all their shots are very fresh and nice! They simply flow. Spirit to spirit. zai. thumbs up for their livefeed ministry.

Service was as powerful. Ownage!! haha.

After that, we headed for our last meal of the trip with Pastor Kevin. The best is kept for the last! that's what Pastor Kevin said. We went to eat...Bat Ku Teh!

After everything, headed back to hotel and waited for bus to bring us back. did some quick shopping in the mist of it.

oh man..there are still many things that I didn't share. Ask me what and I will tell you more!

I have encountered one of the two things that I'm really looking forward to this week...

B1 CONNECT GROUP MEETING!!!

Today 75% of my energy and time is spent at Peiwei's house.

I mean we have so much fun at Peiwei's house.

We ate mee siam, hokien mee...

Worship session...CG meeting..talked about boldness.

kelvin, rachel, alicia and OCK played piano.. Peiwei's dad said that OCK passed the basic piano skill. haha.

Peiwei, Xin Chi, Weile, JaiXian, OCK, kelvin, Janise, Rachel, Alicia, Kai Ting, Sam, shanyong, peiru were the people present.

These are my thoughts when i was at peiwei's house. many "woah!", "wow", "aiyo", "huh" responses from me.

Peiwei: Thank you for the use of your house and the two dogs as "entertainment"? halfway through eating mee siam, peiwei actually remembered that there's CG and we are going to late if we are not going to bake the cake. So! she quickly think of a game plan and work something out that suits everyone. I thought it was cool. I think when I'm 15 years old, I won't actually know what to do. (:

Xin Chi: Surprisingly, he didn't eat a lot last night. 4 bowls only. I counted. haha. I was secretly counting. oh man..what to say about xinchi, he's always there supporting the cg.

Weile: By the sound of the dogs barking and weile's screaming, everyone knows that weile is standing outside the house. Great announcements given during CG. very zai! So full of confidence. I must declare this!! Weile is not that afraid of the dogs compared to the first time she's here.

JiaXian: "Hey, what are the songs that we are singing for CG later?" By this question he asked, I know that JiaXian is part of this team. He wants to know the lyrics so that he can support and contribute to the CG. No one asked him or taught him that, he just did it.

OCK: I was thinking whether you will be alright when you reached home. I wanted to sms you last night but afraid that your mum will read the sms. nothing will happen. I'm praying for you. You led a great games during CG.

Kelvin: DOLLS AND LIFTS. Now I know what is Kelvin's weaknesses. He's afraid of Dolls and lifts. anyway, I know that on the inside of you, something is different about you. it's a good thing.

Janise: aiyo!! so quiet through out the whole day. I'm so not used to it. But then again! I'm glad that you are so blessed by the CG sermon! Boldness!

Rachel: It had been a long time since I last saw and talked to her. She's still the same. oh oh oh..she can play the piano. I was like "Woah! I didn't know that". I think I need to talk to them more often. Rachel is quite a funny person though I didn't really talk to her. My conclusion: When she is loud, she can really be very loud. When she is quiet, she is really quiet. No link.

Have fun with you. Got to see you often man. She very nice leh, invite everyone for the basketball but never ask me. haha. jkjk. anyway, I can't make it tomorrow.

Alicia: SHE KEEPS KISSING THE DOG!!! EEEEEEEE

Kai Ting: She's afraid of dogs. aiyo..i feel so sad for her the whole day at peiwei's house. I think you brought peiwei's books home!

Sam: So shy.. hahaha! She was quiet most of the time other than playing with the floor.

Shan Yong: he joined my cg for the first time. I think he got culture shock. haha. everyone was high in the house.

Peiru: Watch out. See you this sunday. Secretly took video of us. I managed to delete it. haha

I'm currently reading the book "The New Gold Standard: 5 Leadership Principles for Creating a Legendary Customer Experience Courtesy of The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company".

It's a great book. Pastor How lend this book for me to read. I'm trying to finish reading it like asap so that I can return pastor.

I'm having a Chief Usher Meeting tonight at 7pm. I got to share this with the Chief ushers.

Things to change:

1) We must run our ministry with Gold Standard. We got to up our customer service and communication in the ministry.

The book quote, "There is never any such thing as saying "That's not my job." If it means helping out one another or doing something to provide service to the guests, the word no is simply not in the vocabulary of those who choose to work at Ritz-Carlton."

Usher Ministry must be the same. More than that, our church Customer Service Team needs to be the same too.

2) 6 Steps to Service Standard

I will keep these 6 steps to the Chief Usher first. (:

you are right..I'm going in to build Communication and Customer Service in our ministry.

Recently, I have been advanced into another higher level in the operations team. I'm now overlooking the whole Customer Service Team(CST). BMI, Usher, Hospitality, Generations, etc. I am so desperate to have a revelation over this new role I'm in for God.

Honestly speaking, I haven't caught the revelation to run this team. Nothing wrong with this! I am doing well in administrating and inspiring. I mean I got so many ideas, thoughts, dreams and vision in heading the customer service of our church.

A lot of people runs a good ministry. But if you want your ministry to be the best, today you neither can run it by administration nor inspiration. You must run it by revelation. What is your revelation over your ministry today?

the last few days were fun..

WEDNESDAY:

last night, I went to eat the best prata shop with Kenn and Eugene. while eating, we ended up watching the lizards mating and the lizards eating a beetle? it was as exciting as watching a soccer match.

We thought that nothing will happen and the lizards will not eat the beetle. The next moment we noticed, the lizards started to move and we quickly went back to the prata shop and watched. AZA - AZA!! There goes the beetle.

TUESDAY:

I was in church for powerhouse. I was not supposed to come. However, I woke up at 3am and can't sleep. So I just changed, made a fish burger for myself and left for powerhouse.

talking about the fish burger, it was super nice. If i have the time and chance, I will open a restaurant and called it, "Everything, Anything I like to Serve RESTAURANT" Basically, I will have a "Today's special" everyday and that will be the highlight of the restaurant and make people come back everyday. I will cook and serve whatever I like to serve. anyway! it will be a hobby. I enjoy cooking.

After powerhouse, went to clementi and look for OCK, Jia Xian, Sam, Peiwei (3mins only), kelvin, xinchi, janise and jeanie. Ate and went to play badminton at Kelvin's house. I owned him. haha. he lost me 11-6. He said that he's a school team. well, i must say that he can smack the shutter and it hit my chest real hard. all thanks to kelvin.

The coolest part about the outing is that he said with all his pride that he's a heart of God church member, he calls it his home and he comes to church every Sunday. I'm glad that HOG has always been a home for everyone.

MONDAY:

Monday was a fruitful day. I was with pastor how the whole day. Pastor how went to City Harvest Church (jurong west) to preach in their bible school. 11 years ago, pastors were students attending the bible school. Now, they are back preaching at the bible school. I want to be just like pastors. I can't wait to attend bible school and preach in bible school.

the journey of the dream. I have a dream. My dream is to ....... be just like my pastors.. double portion to be upon me. (:

time to blog again..

I had so much fun today!

Came to church for Zone F service. As usual, it was a power-packed service. Lynette sermon owned. Today's service just felt different, everything was so must better. It was the spirit of joy in our service. You could feel the whole atmosphere of the service having a very joyful feeling. idk how to describe to you.

after zone f service, rush to Bugis with the whole zone f. We splashed ourselves with water. everyone was having so much fun at the fountain.

then we headed to Raffles City then to marina square to see fireworks.

i must tell you i enjoyed the raffles city moment the BEST. Jazreel and Sili will definitely understand why. Jazreel and Sili, if you are reading this, please send me the videos and photos soon. Anyway, I love you guys. We laugh at the same thing, disturb people at the same time?? aiyo..OOPS> haha..

I'll upload all the videos/photos once I got them all.

After fireworks, I rushed to church for a meeting. In the process to my destination, met Roy. He became my train buddy for the night. We travelled to church together and travel home together today. We had a great laugh.

We were shocked to see him walking up and down that we concluded that it's Hungry Ghost Festival. That person may be a ghost.

Aiya.. but I don't believe in ghost. however, i do believe that there's the evil spirit. But who cares? there's a great and more powerful spirt called the HOLY SPIRIT!

FOP 2008 Ushering is finally over.

Wow.. amazing weekend. It was power-packed for all the ushers.

Attention to everyone who did ushering:

You guys are now at a higher level in terms of capacity to do more for God because you gone through something that requires a very high level of capacity. Praise God for all theses. You are all ready to grow so much more in your ministries.

Thank you for serving. It's a joy serving with everyone of you.

Interesting fact:

I had a dream last night. I was dreaming that I'm leading two zones. Then I was running everywhere from the East to the North and from the North to the East again.

In conclusion, WHAT A TIRING DREAM I HAD last night. HAHA.

Lastly, it had been a long 3 days of ushering. Please remember to spend time with God. Get yourself back on track on the things you are doing for God again.

There's a tendency that you feel that you are very tired and need more rest. Guard yourself. All you need to do is to pray and ask for God's strength to strengthen you. Don't drop your quality of work or your output for God. Keep running!

How am I spending my day after 3 days of FOP!

Well! it's a Monday!! haha.. I woke up at 1pm. I'm really very tired. So I need to sleep until 1pm.

RELAX FIRST:

walk around the house and grab some food, put all my thoughts together and blog.

PACK MY ROOM:

Later I'm going to pack and clean my room. It's super messy now. haha. After 3 days of FOP, I just put all my things everywhere in my room.

BUY NECESSARY THINGS/NEEDS:

Going down to the market beside my block to take a walk. I noticed that I'm missing a few necessary things that I need for my daily life. Things like getting a Thirsty Hippo (moisture absorber) for my cupboard, wax for my hair, etc.. I will go supermarket and see what I can buy.

WASH UP:

Time to bath after a battle with the germs and viruses in my room.

Pray and worship. Get recharged.

MANY MORE:

i don't think i will have all the time to list down the things i'm doing. plan my week, call my people, prepare sermon, etc.

Army is nearing each day I wake up..

Anyway, this week has been a great weekend. It was Academic Excellence weekend. Ushering for this weekend has been one of the highlights. It was super fun and exciting ushering with the fellow crews for both weekends.

Alright! This morning I woke up with a dream.

I dreamt that My enlistment date is 28th August 2008. Reporting time: 930am.

WHEN I RECEIVE THE NEWS, I FREAK OUT.

I woke up and I headed to church. haha.

Thank God it was just a dream. But dreams come true???

This is just like Hannah's Story (1 Samuel 1:1-20)

Hannah can't give birth and was sad. She has a broken heart, she comes before God with a broken heart and prayed for a child. It breaks the unbroken heart of God and God blesses her with a child.

As Christians, we must be broken in order to be rebuilt.

Don't give up in all the things that you are doing.

When you are broken, God is actually rebuilding you as a person.

Having revelations from God is good. the feeling is amazing..

Hey! Good Morning..

Good day! I'm now at Pasir Ris's McDonald. I just watched Iron Man on my Mac and I'm blogging now. After this, I got to head to church to work and attend meetings. (:

How I started my day?

Woke up at 6am in the morning and went to send Eric off to BMTC. Eric just went in to serve our nation. Many thoughts came across my mind this morning..

Now I get what Pastor Lia means when you wake up early in the morning, you tend to have more thoughts.. I really thought of a lot of things.

1) Waking up at 6am!

Waking up at 6am reminds me of those days when I was still in Secondary school. That was like 7 years ago. This morning, I saw so many students at the interchange, queuing up and waiting for their buses to come. It reminds me of the time where Ivan, Fx and myself will meet and go to school together. We talk crap, have breakfast together, late for school, run to main gate before the gate was closed, etc.. The air in the morning is so much fresher?

haha.. after that, something hit me. Oops! I am growing older each day.

2) Secondary School Students

As I was thinking about the morning and the old times.. I thought of all the current Secondary school students that's in B1 an

d F3. Sms all of them? At least 20 of them.. Send my greetings to them and telling them to not be late for school, Greet them with a BIG TEXT, "GOOD MORNING!!" haha, then started talking to all of them individually through sms.

Lala: I thought she's the type that will reach school early. oops..she only reaches school on time and sometimes late? :p

Peiwei: Everyday late for school! aiyo..don't be late can? haha.

Xin Chi: I'm reaching school already.. I will reach on the dot! aiyo..must be earlier..

Jia Xian: Greet me with a good morning and asked me about his follow up on Sat. haha.

John: I'm reaching school soon.. late or not? I'm not sure.. haha. I believe he's a good student in school.

Jazreel: I got no worries about her. She will always be early in school. Good student! CTSS people must learn from her. haha. Started sharing with Jazreel about my thoughts of the "morning feeling" hehe.

Sili: as usual.. full of hype and excitement.. yoz yoz.. haha. I also shared with her about my thoughts of the "morning feeling". Jazreel and Sili are like the ones that I know I can trust in them. (:

Kenn: haha.. must be in the parent's car when he replied my sms. Good student. He never/hardly pon school.

JingYi: haha.. her smses a lot of (: (: :P lol.. she asked me if I'm going to watch the match today. arhh. can't come! I got test in school during that time. I'm sure they will win. She's so sweet as a person. I wish her all the best for the match, she did the same to me as I got test. haha.

Cassandra: woo..she goes to school her own. I thought she's the type that parents will fetch her to school. haha, i asked her to think of us when she plays the match this afternoon. must score more than 10 points.

3) Army!!

Army (something that I don't look forward to)

arrh.. just now as I was sending Eric off, I started to have that feeling!! I could imagine myself going to the army. It was a scary feeling. I think I can somehow understands 50% of what Charleston, Roy, Garrett, Dominic, many more, the feeling they have when they are enlisted to the army.

Truly Usher Ministry has become a training ground.

In Usher Ministry, our vision is to usher people into their destiny.

Just to share my own testimony as a chief usher..

Honestly, I know nothing about usher ministry when I was a Chief Usher. I was like a new crew. But pastors believe in me and needed another chief usher in the ministry at that time. I was then put as a chief usher. Knowing nothing about the ministry, I rose up to be who I am today.

So from nothing to something. You can be a chief usher in no time.

Just want to say that you guys have been growing so much in the ministry.

Why are they great?

1) They are all below 18 years old

2) They are leading a team to usher 800 members every weekend.

3) They have Jesus in their lives

4) The youngest chief usher is 16 years old

(In a few months time, there will be more younger Chief Usher)

5) They are leading an average team of 40 people.

6) They are the people that I will really want in Usher Ministry Dream Team.

Oh..just came back from church! it had been a great weekend.

Benny is so cute. I went home with him today.

He was supposed to go Ivan's house to stay tonight but they left church first. So I brought Benny to Ivan's house. Had a great talk with him while we walked home.

So many things had happened the last one week and many things are going to happen the next one week!

Ernest and Eric are going to the army this coming week. I'm going to seriously miss all their nonsenses and the presence of them being around us in church. It may seems only two weeks but two weeks means a lot. I will miss you guys. My day shall come soon. sob sob.

Woohoo.. B1 and F3 brokethrough! I'm so happy. Met up with F3 leaders on Sat and shared about being together with one accord like what Apostle Paul mentioned and something happened.

F3 used to be averaging 10-12 the last one month. We hit 14 this weekend. Praise God.

Who say we need the worldly working experience to bring Usher Ministry another level?

I don't like adults who doesn't believe in young people and always blame us over small silly things.

Why can't they look at the GREAT things we done? (I still love all these WORLDLY ADULTS! God is still moulding them..)

BUT! I must say that every HOGC adults members are amazing. There's so much to learn from them. The way they give to God is one of the things that we can really learn.

B1 brokethrough 20! After the new restructure, I'm leading B1 now and overseeing B10 as Wei Ling lead B10.

B1 is amazing! Having this new structure, our average attendance is only 12 for the last one month. So I shared with them that our end of year target is to hit 20!

Alright, jokes aside!!! Peiwei has been amazing. She's really growing so much in the Lord and I'm very happy that God revealed Himself so much to her as pastor how preached about "What is spirituality?"

Oh ya, not to forget to share about me having supper with Charleston and Ivan on Saturday night. Charleston drove his dad's car and pick me up at my house. Truly we are growing up. From taking bus together 7 years ago to who we are today. Everything is in God's plan.

Sometimes, I find it so hard to explain to people that they ain't see nothing yet.

Prayer

Father, I want to take this opportunity to pray for my brother and sister who just read this post. Bless them and let them live a joyful and abundance life. I pray that somehow and one day you will convict their hearts and let them live a life of obedience for you. Let us be people with great convictions of Your Word. Let us also be people who carries the Fear of God in our lives. Use me, mould me, lead me. Thank you Lord. In Jesus's name, Amen.

"Wanted" is a movie that you must watch if you are looking for thrilled and excitement.

Reading this post may be a decoy for you to watch it. (Maybe not)

I went out with Eric, John, Wei ling, Wenqi and Hui Ning today!

It was great hanging out with them. John is funny. This is a NC-16 Movie. So John (He's 15 years old!) is not allowed to watch it. I decided to take a risk and got him to come and just go watch.

This is funny. The movie was about to start and we rushed in to find out seats. Before that, John was afraid that he couldn't enter. I was telling John, nothing will happen. Just act like you are a 16 years old.

So we entered the cinema and passed the tickets to the person.

John looked TOTALLY SUSPICIOUS!!

If I'm the person, I would have stopped him. He walked beside Eric and started putting his hands on Eric's shoulders, attracting the attention of the person. Even I noticed it. Thank God that these people are slackers. I'm sorry but they really are.

We quickly went in to watch the movie.

As usual, we took out all our take-aways. Bubble teas, Subways and macs. Guess what Wei Ling bought? BEE HOON!! Aiyo..watch movie take-away BEE HOON. so cute.

Alright, for the movie, it's really nice. the twisting of the movie, the way they directed it and all the sound effects were amazing. "Decoy" is the word for this movie. beware when you see a "X" sign. it may be a decoy.

sigh..I think I'm not good in sharing about the movie here. Go watch it yourself. That's the way.

Today was the best Friday OPS Check/Run through ever so far!

I had been waiting for this day where I can meet up with the crews and HOD to share with them about bringing HOGC 2.0 in the OPS Dept. It was a short by productive check/run through. I felt something had been imparted. Thank you Lord!

Anyway, I don't like traveling (Just today).

1) I travelled from Yishun to Church.. Went for two meetings.

2) I travelled from church to woodlands.. Went to school for economics test!

3) I travelled from woodlands to church again.. Did follow up with Peiwei and OPS check

4) I travelled from church to yishun.. Home sweet home.

Now you know why I don't like travelling. haha. I spent 3hrs 40mins on the MRT today.

But it is all worth it! Ops check was great! the two meetings in the morning was fruitful and productive. Follow up was great, I could feel the presence of God. Econs test was easy. haha

I thank God that You are in my life.

Great day!

Half my day was spent in school. During lunch break, I went down to the canteen to meet up with a cool group (HOGC RP). It was really funny! When Mattheaus saw him, he was like "Jian Ming!! this is the first time i see you in school!". Let's clarify something, I do go to school for all my lessons and I'm seldom late and rarely pon classes.

Mattheaus had been often late and pon school quite often? (Maybe that's why he doesn't see me in school!)

OKOK..MATTHEAUS DID GO TO SCHOOL. PLS DON'T GET THE WRONG IDEA! (:

It was fun to fellowship and encourage each other in the table for nearly one hour. What a fruitful hangout!

We talked about many things.

Topic 1: Why is RP not the lousiest Poly?

this is a very long story but yet logical and powerful to make a very strong stand to RP. Ask me what!

Topic 2: What is Staff Performance Management Evaluation (PME)?

Workload level and performance rating 1-5.

Cut the long story short.

Purpose: Produce quality and consistency in the work we are given. For you are faithful, your rewards are great.

Topic 3: How did Jian Ming cope with all the things I'm doing?

We need to begin to see the things things that we are doing as a relationship. A relationship that cannot be neglected.

Just like any great relationship, it is never left alone.

Good news, I'm officially left with 10 more days in RP. During today's prayer meeting, God spoke to me to have this every lunch break since it's the last 10 days. Real Good news! I'm going to meet up with all the HOGC RP regularly every lunch break. I got to arrange this with them.

It's going to be a great!

Head down to church for Baptism in the Holy Spirit with OCK and JiaXian. Finally, they are praying in tongues during Cg.

Had a worship session with B1 today. It was good.

Ring and Sandals..

These show that the young man's father fully accepted him as his son. A ring was a sign of high position in the family. Sandals showed that he was a son instead of a slave, since slaves did not usually wear sandals.

I am a prodigal son. I have wore the ring and sandals that God, my Father, has given me.

I'm waiting to meet Yassy for Staff Performance Management Evaluation (PME). Since I got to wait, might as well blog first. (:

Yes.. went to meet lala and peiwei at Jurong. We had a great follow up lesson at Jurong Library. Jurong Library, the place is very nice. The whole building is made of glass. Please visit the place! We did the lesson on "Listening to God". Today seems to be a Q&A session. They asked lots of questions. Lala asked me about the verse that she blogged (Go read her blog!). I really had lots of fun with the two of you at the library. Thanks for all the fellowship.

After reviewing the verses together, everyone had a clearer understanding of the Word. Truly there's hidden treasure in the Word. I will post Matthew 5 and Luke 6 in my next post. Ock, you will be blessed.

I'm glad that I got nothing funny but spiritual to blog about. So many things is happening..CTSS revival is here. Their juniors are coming to church.. xin chi is rising up to greater heights. same for the rest. B1 breakthrough 30, F3 breakingthrough 16. Thank God.

I simply got to blog about two person from CTSS!

I like her faith. After last weekend service, her parents found out that she has been going to church and her parents are very angry with her. She's facing Parental Objection! Let me tell you this, it totally doesn't seems to be like having Parental Objection. She keeps believing that she will be able to pull through it. Like we always say, "If God can bring us to it, He can bring us through it."

It's so timely for all these things to happen. Just last weekend, she made a decision to be committed to God and Heart of God Church forever. Just few days after the decision, the devil came in and attack. The devil really knows when to attack us. Too bad, we also know when to really attack back! the devil can attack one person, we make sure 10 more CTSS people know about God. (:

Janise, I'm so proud of you. We are here praying for you! you are going to overcome this problem and be a great woman of God in His House! Believing in you.

woohoo! I had a great conference last night with all the leaders. I shared with them my revelation (Phil 4:1-7). We are all ready to make things happen in our CG.

This is a prodigious post!

June holidays have been amazingly. I shall share about a few events...

1) Secondary School Camp

Did so many things.. it was really fun running the camp and having fun with everyone.

"Simon says" Game was a consequential game. I hope it was to you.

2) Family Holidays to Genting Highlands.

It's was fun over there at Genting. I went to watch this concert called "Dreamz". There was 5 motorcycles racing at the same time in a metal small cage. White Lion, White Tiger and 2 Big Bearded Collie. I fell in love with the Bearded Collie Dogs. they look just so adorable. haha

I had lots of physical and spiritual fun.

Physical fun, I took all the most scariest ride in the theme park. Spaceshot was the first. It went all the way to 16th story high? and drop down in less than 2 secs? After this, all the rides has no feelings. Went to take Cockscrews. Amazing two rounds of 180degrees turn in the ride.

Spiritual fun, I finished reading the book, 4th dimension. It has totally changed the way I see and do things. Living in the 4th dimension. (Please read the book if you haven't)

Too many things to share.. Lastly! I went to the highest level in Genting and prayed at 3am in the morning. Breathtaking! I came down with a renewed mind.

3) School Seminar

The school seminar ended and leaving me with lots of ideas and things to do. I shall blog more about this another day.

Yes.. I long for this post.. this is the part that I really want to blog about. My revelation.

Last Monday, I had an usher prayer meeting. The night before I was seeking God for a first hand revelation and God revealed Himself to me at 3am on Monday morning and I head to church at 7am after 3.5hours of sleep.

It was so God. God told me specifically that this is the flow/order of my prayer meeting.

Background about this Chapter.

Apostle Paul writes a than you note to the believer at Philippi. This book in the bible is written to the Philippians. Phil 4:1-7 is one of the note that Paul writes to the church at Philippi.

Philippians 4:1-7

1 Therefore, my beloved and longed-for brethren, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, beloved.

2 I implore Euodia and I implore Syntyche to be of the same mind in the Lord.

3 And I urge you also, true companion, help these women who labored with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and the rest of my fellow workers, whose names are in the Book of Life.

4 Rejoice in the Lord always, Again I will say, rejoice!

5 Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand.

6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;

7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

7 steps in being a Prayer Warrior and not a Prayer Worrier.

1) Stand fast in the Lord (Phil 4:1)

1 Therefore, my beloved and longed-for brethren, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord,beloved.

The Lord called us to first, stand fast in Him. Before problems, troubles, worries, etc comes, we need to stand fast in the Lord.

Recently, we have been having prayer meeting in church for everyone 4pm-5pm and 8pm-9pm. By turning up for prayer meeting, you have first stand fast in the Lord. Praise God for you!

2) Be of the same mind as the Lord (Phil 4:2)

2 I implore Euodia and I implore Syntyche to be of the same mind in the Lord.

When you stand fast in the the Lord, the next thing you need to do is to be of the same mind as the Lord. Quiet down your inside, get pray up. Start to dwell in His presence and connect to Him.

3) Rejoice in the Lord (Phil 4:4)

4 Rejoice in the Lord always, Again I will say, rejoice!

Now, we are then ready to come to God with a clear mind and rejoice His name. Praise Him, worship Him.

4) Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication (phil 4:6)

6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;

Don't be so hurry with the things of God. God has everything planned. Quiet down your inside. Begin to envision and live what you see. 4th dimension. Do everything by prayer and supplication.

5) Thanksgiving (Phil 4:6)

After we did what we are called to do from verse 1-6, give thanks to Him. Thank God for everything in our life. So many things to thank Him. Thank God for our church, our pastors, leaders, Zones, CGs, friends, family, etc.

6) Let your requests be made known to God (Phil 4:6)

Now is then the time for you to let your request be made known to God.

Sometimes, people (Prayer worriers) are just to hurry to pray to God their request. We need to come before the Lord first. Always stand fast in Him. Don't come to God only when you need Him.

Guess what?? when you do all the above..

The peace of God will come upon you.

7) Peace of God (Phil 4:7)

7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Prayer

Father, I pray that for all who read this post, they will come before you as a prayer warrior and not a prayer worrier from today onwards. Let there be a renewed of our mind and let our understanding be of Yours and not of mine. Thank you Lord. In Jesus name! A new prayer warrior shall be born again. In Jesus name I pray, Amen!

Last but not least, let's look at Philippians 4:8

Philippians 4:8

8 Finally, brethen, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy - meditate on these things.

An extra step!

8) Meditate on all the prayer the Lord has answered (Phil 4:8)

Many people tend to forget about all the prayers that God answered for them. This is the most important of all. Remember that God has everything planned for us. We must also remember that if He can bring us to it, He will bring us through it. Therefore, rejoice and thank Him for everything. Don't ever blame God for some things that happened.

These 8 steps will bring you to become a strong prayer warriors in the Kingdom of God.

I hope it's a blessing to you for it has been a blessing to me.

Wow, I think what Charleston shared is really so true. When we are spiritually dried, things are harder to work on. He remembered clearly that I was really growing so much during the times where I'm very spiritually attached to God everyday. God, seems like I'm getting even more attached to you. Thank you for this first hand revelation.

Woo. Sometimes it's just so great talking to your leaders and peers in church.

I just came back from a pastoral meeting with pastors. amazing..7pm-1am.

After that, the CGLs fellowship in church and watched this old movie called, "super cops". We had a great laughed.

Got home and started planning my week. wow, I'm excited about my week.

This week, I'm going to breakthrough in one area of my life even more. That's prayer.

I will pray and pray and pray. P>U>S>H>>>

A dream comes true

I’m so excited that I got to blog now! It’s 6:04AM in the morning now.

I just finished watching Champions league final 2008! A Dream comes true. I had been waiting for the longest time to see my favorite soccer team (Manchester United) to lift up both EPL Trophy and Champions League Trophy in the same year.

I mean I had seen Man U won matches and trophies before. But I have a dream many years ago when I was just a 10 years old boy. I dreamt that one day Man U would lift up both EPL Trophy and Champions League and I could remember the excitement.

I heard of Man U winning the treble but I had never recalled or remembered that year. I was still a small boy and remembered nothing.

Wow..few minutes ago, it was a dream comes true.

The match just now was like having Heart Attack for a few minutes. Jiayang and Eric can relate to how I feel. They watched the full match.

After the match, I left Ivan’s house quietly as he was already asleep. When I was cycling home, I have thoughts of how a dream comes true. What I visualized many years ago came to pass. What I see, it will grow.

God spoke a few things into my heart..

1) The joy and excitement that you see now is nothing compared to the day where you end your race for Me. It will be a greater joy and excitement.

2) What we believe in, it will come to pass.

3) A Leader of 500

4) Then a leader of 3000

5) Preaching to 5000…

6) Building people’s dreams.

7) Dreams can come true

In conclusion,

What we see in our mind will come to pass. Faith and Success.

Well, I’m too happy. I just need to pray now. I can’t sleep. Before I prepare to start my day, the next half an hour is for You. Take all of me.

Pre Red Rain Testimonies! (I wrote this last Tuesday, 14th May 08)
Today (14th May 08) was a fanTAStic day.
I was in school and Dominic sms-ed Jamie and myself about Red Rain Bottles.
This week, Clementi Town Sec School (CTSS) and New Town Sec School must be giving Red Rain Bottles..How's the progress of Red Rain Bottles, are we giving out to the schools. How many will we be giving out?

Haha. Dom! 80 Red Rain bottles! Confirmed! BY Wednesday morning, everyone will receive it.
After that, guess what Dom replied?

Dom: Why not you give 400 red rain bottles? Then they just forked out $100 for 400 Red rain bottles.
JM: Crazy ah?
Dom: Yes.. Crazy!!
JM: Ok.. I will go crazy with you! Let's do it. DEAL!

After that, I immediately called Xin Chi up and told him. 400! He was stunned but I like his faith. Let's do it!

We obeyed and do it. When you obey and take ownership, God will move.

GIVE ME THIS MOUNTAIN!

Good news came in after that,
1) Pei Wei's dad offered to help fetch the first 80 red rain bottles to school for us!
2) Pei Wei's dad offered to drive to church in the late afternoon to collect 320 red rain bottles and bring it home (Pei Wei's house)
3) New Gens heard about it and the teamers offered their help on Wednesday to make it happen.
4) Pei Wei's mum offered to help out with the small little notes (320 of the small notes?) that we are giving away with the red rain bottles.
5) Pei Wei's dad will fetch the bottles to school day by day for us.
(Pei Wei's parents only came to our church once and Pei Wei has only been coming to church for less than 3 months)

After thinking about 400 bottles, we got a good problem. Will the teacher scold? We discussed whether to tell the form teacher or not.

Form Teacher - Christian attending a church regularly and on fire.
Lots of pros and cons to think about. But Xin Chi decided to talk to the teacher.

6) Their Form teacher approved. (Praise God!)
7) Form teacher offered to help distribute the bottles, etc.
8) Do you need me to help fetch the bottles to school? said the Form Teacher.
9) Form Teacher: "It is also my responsibilty to bring revival to CTSS."

God is on our side.
Amazing people!

Testimonies are rolling in..
a) 2 confirmed new friends are coming through the bottles.
b) Someone added them on Msn. (please pray for that person to come online..haha)
c) A group of people asked Peiwei about Red Rain Concert. They said that they will confirm towards the day.
d) Dynamics of CTSS grew stronger.
e) Samantha (their classmate) actually helped to distribute the bottles. She didn't come to our church before. By this week she will, she's coming for Red Rain Concert. (Hey Sam..I can't wait to see how shy you are this weekend...HAHA)
f) Better relationship between HOGC CTSS and their form teacher (Peiwei will say a loud AMEN!)
g) Salvations.. (not yet, but soon.. I have faith)

Pastor How and Pastor Lia rocks! I'm missing my pastors already. Pastors are only going to be back next Thursday night and I will only see them on Fri (30th May 08).

Spending time with Pastor How is amazing. I was with Pastor How last Sunday afternoon before service. We had a great time. I don't know how to explain to you. You will understand this feeling when you are with the top. Open up to your leaders.

Pastor How rocks! God is really moving in our church. Let's really keep our pastors in prayer.

It really makes me reflect my life and I ain't see nothing yet!

I'm in church for 6 years already. so what? It's nothing. Loving God and being on fire for God 50 years is then something.

Let faith and confidence arise in your heart today. When you have that, abilties, talents will come. Most importantly, Anointing and Power will come too. Have faith?

anyway, my day was Great today. I did lots of exercise. My mum just came back from Shanghai after 10days. I really missed my mum. When I woke up and heard her voice, I thought I was dreaming. I ran out and give her a hug and told her I miss her. haha. I think I really missed her when I actually did that.

After that, went to play soccer with my poly friends at Yishun. Since it's near my house, might as well play. Then went home and my aunties came to my house for a game of mahjong. I thought it was a game of mahjong, so I went for another outing at Clementi at 430pm with cool people like Joshya, Kenn, Wayne, Jordan, Nicholas Tan /Luo, Keegan, Fu Rong, Eric, JiaXian, OCK, Kelvin, etc. We played soccer until 8pm and when I reached home at 930pm. The game of mahjong hasn't ended. They were really playing a game of mahjong. HAHA

What is Jian Ming doing?
I was watching Water Horse on my Mac just now. Going to finish up the whole movie in the late afternoon. My mother got lots of "chiong" Dvds. haha. Monday will be the only day where I try to relax and watch the "chiong" Dvds.

Question: Do you know why "chiong" dvds are called "chiong" dvds?
Ans: After observing my mother for the last few weeks watching her "chiong" dvds from 11pm - 4am everyday... She really knows how to CHIONG! All the way man.. (:

Anyway, I suddenly felt led to look for funny jokes online.. But I just can't find any jokes online that's really funny!! ...
Until my facilitator (Mr. Frank Ng) in class said something during presentation.

Mr Frank: Hey.. Of course this is wrong.

Wow.. I'm in church now and I'm going to play soccer with pastor how and some of the staff later. It's going to be a great time with pastor and the staff.

A time where the dynamics of the dream team increases in teamwork, bonding, etc. Woohoo.

Anyway, Man U Vs Barcelona match is tonight! I pray that Man U will win. Amen!

The past few days, many people have been saying that I'm not as dark as I am, etc. They really meant it. They said that I need to go for some tanning, etc. Maybe I should have a Sentosa Outing with my Cg after their exams.

My conclusion why they said that I'm not as dark as I am.

My Journey In CHRIST - Part 2

So, that's me when I was young if you read Part 1. Cheers.

Look at the cheeky smile on my face 8 years ago. What does it tell you? muahahaha.

I was a very naughty, playful and mischievous person.

I'm not ashamed to share what I'm going to share with you in this post but I think you will be shocked to believe.

ALL these were when I'm still not a Christian...

1) When I was Primary 6, I remembered that I hated one of a classmate. I really doesn't like him. It was just the feeling that we can't relate to each other. During the last few days of school, I actually plotted a plan to push him down the stairs. It was a success and within hours, I was brought to the principal's office and I received one stroke of the cane on my butt.

2) Being the naughty Jian Ming, I will always finds troubles in school. In chinese lesson, before I can even sit on my chairs, I will be called to sit outside the classroom. Every spelling test, I will sure get 100%. Why? Copy. There was once where it was so bad that my chinese teacher cried half way during lesson as she doesn't know how to control me.

3) I will always sabotage one classmate of mine in class. I did many things to her.. I will make sure I throw her pencil case around during recess, hide her bag, make her bag dirty, hide her chair or put her table and chair in another class. The objective is to embarrass her in front of everyone. You can't blame me for all these. She was a very proud girl when she's a primary school student. Must teach her some lesson.

Anyway, everyone of you know her. She's Samantha Foo. Yes..we were primary school classmate. Believe it or not? So ironic, we are both now CGLs of B Zone, building the kingdom of God. Truly God has His plans for us.

4) I saw the DNT Table. I think this is famous to all of you!

5) I fought with one of my schoolmate when I was Sec 1. he used a metal chain and whack me. So I started beating him up. We got one stroke of the cane on our butt.

6) After school, I took out my water bottle and wet the whole windows of my classroom. I was caught red-handed. I told the teacher that the classroom was on fire.

7) there's more, but i don't think i got the time to list down everything. I can sit down and share with you all the nonsense. There's the Ezlink joke, You you you you you joke, etc. haha. Sit me down and I share more with you about my past.

So that's a little about me in the past.

Shocked? But it shows that God is real and I had changed.

I just can't wait to share my happiness with everyone of you! (I haven't ended my week but I must tell you that I had a fruitful and productive week)

“Hey Jian Ming, yesterday after follow up, when I left church. I just felt something different. I feel joy and I’m very happy. I can feel the change in my life before I came to church and now that I’m in church. Thank you.”

“Hey Jian Ming! The worship session just now was really cool! Haha. Is there any day you are free so that we can have follow up?”

“Hey Jian Ming, thank you for persuading me to attend the talk for the preview! It was really helpful and I have placed a seating at pgsm J Thank you!”

It's not me but God. Woo hoo.. I'm excited about my life.

If you are reading this, learn something.

Obedience is greater than willingness.

You can be willing but not obey. You cannot obey and not be willing.

You need to be willing and just obey.

Let me sow this in your heart, Obedience is greater than willingness. Catch it.

They obeyed, that's why they are experiencing the breakthroughs in their lives.

Let today be the day, choose to obey today. Obey God, obey pastors, obey your leaders...

Anyway, it has been nearly a week of blogging for me. I noticed something. Everyone has a different way of blogging. This is my style. HAHA.

Oh.. I must blog about this too. Jazreel, Sili and Kenn. From the expressions and sharing that you shared, I felt your loyalty. The loyalty that you have towards F3 shows me the loyalty that you have to God, HOGC, Pastors, Leaders and your zone.

You are going to be history makers and world shakers. Keep growing and not give up, God will move when the time comes.

My Journey In CHRIST - Part 1

Hi Everyone! I thought that it will be good for me to blog about MY TESTIMONY. This is going to be a series of posts to show you guys the journey of my life.

I will try my best to blog about every single incident and event that I can think of. I think I will forget to include some incidents and encounters. Nevertheless, be inspired.

I remembered that I live a boring life! Everyday I will just be at home waiting for time to pass. Eat, study, play, sleep, eat, study, play, sleep, eat, study, play and sleep. These were the things that I did many years ago.

Every afternoon, I would be found under my block playing catching with my neighbors and cycling. I had a maid then! 3pm was my Tea Time! (I love tea time!)

Tea Time! 3pm would be the time where my maid and I gathered with the rest of the maid and all the kids under the block to have a party. Pizzas, hotdogs, snacks, ice cream, etc. woo.. It was a feast.

My weekends were "fruitful".

9am: Wake up and have breakfast.

11am-1pm: Watch Chinese TV serial.

1pm-2pm: Lunch

2pm-4pm: Watch Chinese Movie on Channel 8

4pm-6pm: Sleep

6pm-7pm: Dinner

7pm-10pm: Watch TV

10pm-1030pm: Do homework

1030pm: Sleep.

This was my life before a Christian. (From Pri 1 to Pri 6, Year 1994-2000).

But I must say that during this period of my life, God had already noticed me . My Aunt and her whole family and my grandmother got saved. When I was Primary 6, I actually went to their church for at least 3 Sundays School before. It was St James Church if I remembered correctly.

CGL of two CGs today? Head of Department for Usher Ministry? Leading 150 ushers? Leading 50 people in the CGs? Event Coordinator?

God is real today. Truly, God says in the bible:

26 But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

All these are possible today because of God, my pastors and leaders.

I'm enjoying every moment of my life now.

I can do it, so can you!

Hi everyone, it's 2am now..did lots of things today. I came home after having a CG worship session with F3 and then followed by B1. Went for dinner with them and travelled home.

Just for everyone's information, I got my enlistment status. It will be on the 5th of June 2008!! haha. Don't panic. I am going to defer my army. haha. So most likely I will only go in army in Dec 08. Whew.. I still need to grow the kingdom of God for the time being. Going in on the 5th of June is crazy. Just after Red Rain Concert and Before School Seminar.. It's so unwise to go in during this period.

Whew..Whew and whew.. I still need to complete all the follow up, running of Zone F service, etc, etc, etc that I'm currently doing.

whew...

In hokkien, they will say, "Heng ah!"

Breakthrough Stories

Follow up with Jun Zhou (F3):

Last Sunday, I had follow up with Jun Zhou and I did on the Lesson about Talking to God. After the follow up lesson, we have additional 10 minutes. So we decided to pray in tongues for 10 minutes and build our inner man. I started teaching him about praying specifically when we pray. So I asked him what do you want to pray for this 10 minutes. He started sharing that he wants to pray for his school (Hwa Chong) and see his classmates coming to church. We started praying in tongues for 10 minutes.

Pray, pray, pray and pray.

After 10 minutes, we ended the prayer and his phone rings. His classmate from Hwa Chong, called him up and ask where is he now? Jun Zhou said that he’s in church now. The friend then went on and asked what time is the service timing and he said that he wants to come. After the phone call, his friend quickly changed and rush down to church to meet Jun Zhou. All this happen 2 hours before the service starts. Praise God!

Pastor Lia! Here’s the good news that I want to share with you. You sowed a seed in my heart when I sit in your follow up lesson and learn from you, I could feel the different in the way I do follow up nowadays. More than the impartation of the skills, I think there’s an impartation of your anointing. Thank you pastor.

Regular (B1):

You must clap for this girl!

She has only been in church for less than 2 months. This weekend will be her 2^nd month in church. Being a new believer in God, there’s just the child like faith in her. No matter what happen, she will be around in church and come for every activity in church since she first step into HOGC, from services to prayer meeting and even connect group meeting, etc.

Because of this, her parents started to be a little upset with her. There was one night where she was traveling home and her mum threatens to beat her up, etc. She was very afraid and started praying to God. She prayed specifically to God. She prayed to God that when she reached home, everything will be alright and if her parents really beat her, she will not feel any pain.

When she reached home, her mum really beat her up. Arrh..Sec 3 already still like that. But the amazing thing that she shared is this, “Yes, my mum beat me but every stroke that she hit seem to be a miss. If not, I don’t even feel any pain at all. God is real and He answered my prayer.”

I’m proud of you! (:

Regular to be (B1):

He has been coming for services regularly for the last 6 weeks. Every week he comes, he will tell everyone that I will just come for service every week but I am not a Christian and I don’t want to be a Christian. Just last week, we talked to him and find out if he accepted Jesus in his life because he loves us, loves church and he worship God with us, etc. He said yes. During Easter weekend, he actually accepted God in his life. Just yesterday, we started our first follow up lesson and he’s a changed man. He is so much more open in his life.

More than that, we were playing basketball during one of the weekdays, someone accidentally hit him on the eyes and he was very angry. He scolded vulgarities. But you know what? He felt bad and sorry about it. After the match, he walked to me and shared that he tried to control but he can’t.

Haha. Guess what I told him? I told him, it’s ok! Yea. Habits take times to change. Furthermore, he’s sincere about it.

Anyway, this year I felt very loved by everyone. B1 celebrated my birthday after CG Meeting last Thursday by giving me 20 presents in total and a video! You guys are amazing! All thanks to everyone in B1 who made it happened. Especially Xin Chi and Wei Ling! wow.. I will blog about you individually in my upcoming post.

Sili!! I love the photo album. you really love your leader! I'm really very touched when I received the gift from you. I really don't know what to say. Just want to assure you, your leader is always here for you as you are always here for your leader. Though many things are happening, I love you for who you are and I don't love you based on the performance of yours. Thank you!

F3!! Thank you for all your love and care for me. wow! leading you guys is the best birthday gift for me. I love you all!

Usher Ministry and all the Chief usher!! thank you for the surprise and the "security" that I felt after service (last weekend) with all the security crews ushering me to the back of the auditorium. I'm excited to bring usher ministry to Usher Ministry 2.0! We are a dream team in the Operations.

What's my best birthday gift?

My best birthday gift is to be able to celebrate my birthday with Team CTSS. Clementi Town Sec School! I thank God that I got to celebrate my birthday with the newer people in B1 like Pei Wei, Lala, Jia Xian, Alicia, OCK, Kavin, Kelvin and many more. Not forgetting JOHN from Sembawang Sec School!

Another best birthday gift is to see BRENT last Sunday! It's really amazing to see you back. I am really happy to see you and I'm very touched. You have a place in HOGC. I can't wait to see you every week! I hope you will be reading this.

Anyway, I love my birthday wish. How many of you can remember the past birthday wishes that you made every year? Honestly, I forgot every one of my wishes for the last 19th years but Year 2008 (my 20th birthday) wish is going to be in my heart forever. I kind of got this wish last Monday when I started to seek God when I was alone at home in the afternoon. I started to have the thought, "Hey, my birthday is coming! I need to make a wish. It's the most difficult thing to do when it's your birthday." So I decided to ask God for a wish. How cool is it? God started to show me about the spirit of Elisha in 2 kings 2. Elisha said, "Please let a double portion of your spirit be upon me." I was worshipping God with the song, "I surrender all" and the presence of God is simply thick. So I decided, "Please let a double portion of your spirit be upon me." How bold am I?

Immediately, I sms-ed pastor how and pastor lia and told them, "Pastors!! This is my birthday wish for Year 2008: Please let a double portion of your spirit be upon me."

Pastors replied, "Double portion to you!"

As our church moves on to HOGC 2.0, I must also move on. It's a powerful birthday wish. Like I always tells myself, perhaps it's going to be Jian Ming 2.0! Thank you Lord.

I'm loving every moment of my walk with God now, 6 months ago, it was a real test for me to really grow. Everything that I touched seem to not breakthrough or grow but now, it's different. Everything that I touched, it seems to be turning into gold. I will always remember what pastor how shared with me. I think it's because of this, something hit me when I read it.

Pastor How's message:

If you are great, you never fail.

Still believing in you.

Just want to take this opportunity to encourage those who are having a struggle and longing for a breakthrough. Be inspired. Believing in you.

Before I end, I must say a BIG Thank you to God, my pastors and my leaders.
